Etsy word: Ineffectual

The Etsy word for this week is:

ineffectual \in-ih-FEK-choo-uhl\, adjective: Not producing the proper effect; without effect; weak; useless; futile; unavailing.

Now, go find some ineffectual listings! Wait, that sounds bad.... Find some listings that demonstrate ineffectual people, situations, etc. If you find a good match, submit it as a comment to this post and I'll include it with my own ideas at the end of the week.

    This comment was prompted by a question Parrotise_Beads asked me about baby birds. The first thing that came to mine when I saw 'ineffectual' was AsaMina Sura and her Fisher Price School bus. The crazy tiels nests in a plastic toy school bus, which has got to be the most ineffectual 'nest box' ever created. The bus has open windows in the side and will hold three eggs, aka 'passengers'. When AsaMina lays egg number 4, they begin falling out the window of the bus. Yeah, I've got pictures if you need proof. Should go post them on flickr..... so if anyone asks about 'nest boxes for birds', you can tell them it's "ineffectual for a tiel to nest in a toy school bus".
